Fully modular hardware construction gives a high level of flexibility; functionality can be added or changed at any point. The AQ 200 is developed on the latest technology, the power of multi-processor architecture takes the accuracy of protection and measurement to a new level.
The AQ 200 can be set to any frequency between 6 and 75 Hz. In scan mode, the AQ 200 automatically corrects the measurement error, which guarantees an accuracy of 0.2% or 0.5% over the entire range.
The built-in arc protection integrates 12 sensors on four channels and can also be configured with the AQtivate 200 parameterisation software. The execution time of the system solution is only about 4-10 ms when using the light and current criterion in combination with the relay’s high-speed output.
The correct detection of intermittent earth faults in the AQ 200 series devices is based on precise measurement and sampling technology (0.2s and 3.2kHz). The patented algorithm searches for peaks in I0 and U0 generated by intermittent earth faults. An innovative, patented admittance-based formula accurately determines the polarity of the peaks, preventing false detection. The algorithms have been proven in extensive field tests with utilities and have been used in various power grids since 2014.
With the free, easy-to-use AQtivate 200 software, all settings can be made on the devices. The software has various online and offline modes and all instrument settings can be downloaded in just 5 seconds.
The integrated MIMIC tool allows the creation of individual user interfaces for the AQ 250 units, even using full-color PNG.
The integrated logic tool allows PLC programs to be created in the protection device and includes an online diagnostic function. Another integrated feature is the AQviewer, which can be used to analyze Comtrade files.
